Full description

ELLIOT, Untitled Source (Migrated Record). SDV122415.

The lalla rookh, from shanghai to london, with a valuable cargo of tea and tobacco, was wrecked in march 1873, on prawle point, owing to fog, rain, considerable wind and miscalculation. All the crew except one were saved. The coastguards saved many bales of the cargo of tobacco (elliot).
