Shell House on the east side of The Strand in Topsham. All the listed buildings of The Strand form a group.

Ceiling of Period Three, dated 1695. Flowers and Fruit in high relief.


Department of Environment, 1974, Exeter City, 255 (List of Blds of Arch or Historic Interest). SDV22994.

Shell House, No14 The Strand, Topsham. Late 17th century with plastered front. Two storeys with attics and five windows. Fine shell hood on curved brackets over the 6-panel door. Two dormers and a slate roof. Good late 17th century plaster ceiling, panelling and staircase. Building first Listed 11/11/1952.
