Full description

CORNISH, Untitled Source (Migrated Record). SDV127618.

South down quarry, one of the salcombe regis quarries. In 1859 its stone was used for the restoration of sidmouth church. The stone is of below- average quality.(cornish).(the location of this quarry can be seen on the os 6" map sheet 94ne dated 1933).
