Remains of St Brannocks Well.
1. Well (Name centred at SS48733733).
2. St Brannock's Well. Referred to in Leyland's Itinerary (1534-1543 AD).
3. St Brannock's Well. An ancient well.
4. Visited 30/9/1953 The present appearance of this site is that it is a deralict ornamental pond, probably fed by a spring beneath, with no trace of any previous construction or of antiquity. Its edges are stone walled, oval shaped, and there is a sluicegate of stone brick and concrete in the east. Immediately to the west of the site is what appears to be an old quarry.
