Everett, A. W., 1936-1937, The Great Pond of Polsloe, 24-25 (Article in Serial). SDV25087.

Mill Cottages, Polsloe. The two cottages were converted from the farmhouse of Higher Polsloe Farm which is traditionally the site of a watermill which once served St. Katherine's Priory. A deed of 1796 refers to "that messuage or tenement formerly the grist and corn mill". The water for power was supplied by the Great Pond of Polsloe further up the valley.
