Full description
Wilkin, W. H., 1932 - 1933, Pulmans Well and Pump, Axminster, 365-366 (Article in Serial). SDV348716.
George Pulman's printing works were situated behind the George Hotel in Lyme Street. The first edition of The Book of the Axe was printed here. There is said to have been a well, 29 metres deep. In 1932 the equipment was in a dilapidated state and was being dismantled. A pump was removed to Yarty House.
