Full description

Phillips, E.M., 1936-1937, Totnes in New Walk, at Totnes, 318 (Article in Serial). SDV350425.

At the western end of New Walk, Totnes, there is a ruinous structure which appears to be an attempt to depict the Totnes Arms in the form of a small building, a 'castle' like structure with two large keys carved, one on each side of the central archway. Probably post-medieval to judge from its apparent companion pieces.

Google, 2012, Google Streetview (Website). SDV348799.

A ruinous structure is evident at the southern end of New Walk. It is currently used for parking cars. No other ruinous structures were observed in New Walk.

Ordnance Survey, 2012, MasterMap (Cartographic). SDV348725.
