Reichel, O. J., 1928 - 1938, The Hundred of Fremington in Early Times, 93,422,496,501-506,513,519 (Article in Monograph). SDV20648.

Tawstock was Tauestocha in Domesday. It was a county land held by the king. Before the Conquest it belonged to Harold. The manor included five houses in Exeter. Early descents given.
