Full description

Silvester, R. J., 1980, The Prehistoric Open Settlement at Dainton, South Devon, 17-48 (Article in Serial). SDV346300.

Feature S3, totally excavated in 1975. Mound of stones, 7.9 metres by 7.0 metres, 0.5 metres high. No structures identified. Finds included a sherd of Samian pottery and a clay pipe stem. Identified as a clearance cairn. Other details: Plan.
