Lower Anvil Corner, Holsworthy. A cottage 200 metres to the north of Anvil Corner may be the true location of Anvil Corner which derives its name, probably, from a medieval holder of the manors of Stapledon and Week Daumarl, now Cookbury, called William Avenal.
