Summary

Inscribed boundary rock on the west bank of the ford at Ruelake Pit. The earthfast block measures 1.6 metres long, 0.6 metres wide and is embedded flush with the ground. The exposed face possesses the letters 'G P'. This stone marks the boundary of Gidleigh and Throwleigh parishes.

(06/08/1982) SX 639888 Upright natural boulder north of the track running east from Gelleven found at the point where it crosses a tin working gully. Incised GP. Measurements given on worksheet (not seen).
