Four upright slabs form a crude semi-circle above Stannon Brook. Previously described as a ring cairn, it does not form a recognisable archaeological feature and seems more like random assemblage of natural slabs.

Des=worksheet. Vis=18/10/1982 (greeves) possible prehistoric ring cairn or small med/ post-med structure below clitter on west side of stannon brook. Measures 4m x 3m and contains a number of slab-like stones set on edge (worksheet).

(22/02/1989) SX 64918123. Four upright slabs form a crude semi-circle on a small shelf of an otherwise steep, E-facing and clitter strewn hillside, above Stannon Brook. The semi-circle described by the slabs is 3m in diameter with a maximum height of 0.7m. It does not form a recognisable archaeological feature and seems more like random assemblage of natural slabs.
