Rectangular building on steep east-facing clitter slope above Stannon Broook. The building measures 6.7 metres north-south by 3.7 metres east-west (internally), is constructed of coursed granite stones. Walls are 0.6 metres thick, with a maximum height of 1.1 metres.

Full description

FLETCHER, Untitled Source (Migrated Record). SDV10257.

Apart from a possible entrance in the s wall no structured features are visible; the interior is largely rubble-filled. The function of the building is unknown (fletcher).

Vis=18/10/1982 (greeves) rectangular granite drystone building with entrance at south end. Building may be of 18th century date. Marked on 1965 os 6". Measurement in parish file (worksheet).

Vis=22/2/1989 (rchme) sx64908133. The remains of a rectangular building are visible on a slight shelf in the otherwise steep e-facing clitter slope above stannon broook. The building, internally 6.7m n-s by 3.7m e-w, is constructed of coursed granite stones. It is 0.6m thick, with a maximum height of 1.1m.
