Wheal Hartland was producing copper early 19th century. Shaft in field 350 yards south-east of Rosedown Mill. Mine located in 'Mine Field on 1842 tithe apportionment c 1842 tithe map (plot No. 2991) at SS 2782 246. Probably shaft on OS 1886 map at 2786 2453.
