Unknown, 1832, 74/502/5 (Record Office Collection). SDV144810.

A lease of 1832 mentions the limekilns at Yealmbridge.

Site of several 'Old Limekilns' shown on OS 25" (1880s & 1906) maps in the large 'Quarry' (see PRN 46569) to the southeast of Yealm Bridge. Other details: Also on OS 25" (1906) map.

Lime Kiln approximately 40 metres south of Yealm Bridge. Disused lime kiln early 19C. Stone rubble. Projecting from bank with semi-circular end facing River Yealm. Round arch opening on either side.
