A sub-circular enclosure with internal and external hut circles on the lower slopes of Stall Down. It is part of a large concentration of huts and enclosures (MDV4259) spread across this location. The internal area is a clear space of 0.35 hectares. The walls of the enclosure and huts have been robbed of larger stone leaving only smaller stones in situ or displaced within a turf covered spread bank up to 2.6 metres wide or, in places, a circa 0.5 metre high scarp within which fragments of wall face survive. Three narrow breaches exist within the bank though it is uncertain if any served as an entrance. One large hut circle is built into the south-west arc of the enclosure and probably predates it. Surviving stone suggests the hut had an internal diameter of approximately 8.2 metres though the walls are now spread to 3.3 metres wide and turf covered. Attached to the eastern arc of the hut against the interior of the enclosure is a small turf covered circle with an internal diameter of approximatey 3.3 metres. On the eastern exterior adjacent to a kink in the enclosure wall a circle of eleven small stones is all that survives of a third hut circle with an internal diameter of 5.2 metres.

Enclosure shown on modern mapping.

Enclosure 'D' at SX 63856121 is a sub circular enclosure, 65 metres diameter and covering 0.3 hectares. It has lynchetted, double faced orthostatic walling, 1.2 metres wide and, with two possible, single entrances on the east side. The interior is clear of boulders. Two Type 2 hut circles, have average internal diameters of 7.0 metres and walls about 1.2 metres wide. They predate the enclosure; one, in fair condition, is built on the wall line, the other, fragmentary, is on the outside.
