Site of limekiln within extensive area of quarries on cliffs to south of Branscombe village. The area is known as Branscombe Humps. The location of a lime kiln is also supported by the field name 'Lime Kiln Field' within plot 489 on the Branscombe Tithe Map of 1840.

Extensive area of former quarries and limekilns on cliffs to south of Branscombe Village, to west of Berry Cliff. Kiln Lane leats to Berry Barton to north west. At least one limekiln, at above NGR, is shown on the Tithe Map.
