Visited on 18th May 1994. Round cairn lies 16.9 metres north of a large broadly contemporary cairn and survives as a 6.0 metres diameter mound standing up to 0.7 metres high. A number of edge set stones denote the circumference of the cairn and represent a kerb which survives partly as a buried feature. A central hollow, 1.7 metres by 1.3 metres by 0.5 metres deep, indicates that the cairn has been robbed or partially excavated. The Mercer survey shows this cairn lying 4 metres to the west of the large cairn, there is however no trace of a cairn at this point.

An oval mound is visible as an earthwork approximately 6m across on aerial photographs of 1946, digital images derived from aerial photographs of 2002 and visualisations derived from lidar data captured in 2013 on the south-west facing slopes of Lee Moor, at approximately 330m OD.
The mound is probably the remains of a cairn of Bronze Age date.
An oval hollow circa 2.5m across cut in the surface of the mound might be evidence of historic robbing.
