A small enclosure on Marldon Tithe Map is named Gallowsgate Field. Presumed to be the site of gallows moved from older gallows site at Kingsland (SX86SE/45). Small enclosure bounded by hedgebanks shown on the Tithe Map. Now only one bank remains 26.5m long, 0.2m wide.
