Renaissance marble font on an elaborately carved shaft.

Font at St John the Baptist parish church at East Down. The marble font and font cover sits on richly carved late 16th century columns tapering at base, hexagonal with medallions under foliage and ogee arches at top of each panel echoing details on screen.
