Traces of a Medieval field system around the deserted Medieval village at North Thorne. Hollow ways are shown to the south, springs to the west and ridge and furrow to the east. Other details: plan.

Extensive remains of medieval strip cultivation surrounding North Thorne deserted medieval settlement are visible. A partial extent has been previously recorded and archaeological traces identified in various watching briefs to the north, but LiDAR imagery shows an overall plan and extent.
