Mine adit in roughtor plantation. The entrance is visible on the south side of a forestry track and a spoilheap lies on the north side. Probably connected with the alliance mining association (1825) and/or great roughtor mine (1847). Two possible shafts visible on hillside above. Vegetation to be thinned (greeves).
