Two buildings shown on 19th century map to the west of 'Mount View'.

Small farmstead shown on early 20th century map as an L-shaped building with a rectangular building to the north and several small enclosures to the south. A well is shown as 'W' to the south.


Haynes, R. G., 1966-1969, Ruined Sites on Dartmoor, 87, Plan (Un-published). SDV150434.

Site visited on 17th April 1968. One of several houses with enclosures north of Rundlestone. Probably built and enclosed in the late 18th or early 19th century and abandoned in recent times. A small house with lean-to and separate barn. The house is of mortared stone.
