An 18th century house of which 2 wings and stables survive (pevsner).

Vis=27/5/1983 (griffiths) canonsleigh farm as shown on os map now consists of two separate dwellings, canonsleigh farm (w) and canonsleigh house (e), which were originally the wings of a house whose central range was burnt down in about 1820. The houses look georgian although owner states there is a datestone of c 1620. Supposedly built on the large wall foundations of the abbey buildings (st01ne/2).

Vis=-/1/1985 (griffiths) a house was probably built on the site of the church in 1628 - datestone survives rebuilt in former outbuilding - nd itself replaced by 18th century mansion. Windows reused in canonsleigh house may come from the 1628 house. Part of the colonnade (three niches recessed in the verandah wall) survives at canonsleigh farm.
