Full description

Double fronted Regency building. Referred to as a parcel of land in an identure dated 6th February 1760.

Barchington House, 77 Wolborough Street. House, now offices. Early/mid 19th century. Unpainted 20th century render, slate roof with brick stacks to gable ends. Double-depth plan. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; symmetrical 3-window range. 8/8-pane sash windows. A wide semi-elliptical arched recess with vermiculated Coadestone voussoirs and headmask to the centre has 20th century carved set-back double doors to the centre. INTERIOR: not inspected but noted as having semicircular-arched alcoves to ground-floor rooms, 6-panel doors, cornices and panelled shutters. Date listed: 6th June 1972.
