English Heritage, 2012, Range of buildings 20 metres west of Old Bridwell, Bridwell (List of Blds of Arch or Historic Interest). SDV349533.

Notification that English Heritage have been asked to consider de-listing the range of buildings and have completed an initial assessment.
The site was listed in at which time it was described as 'a range of farm buildings, formerly a dwelling'. At that time the cob range consisted of two distinct sections; it is thought that the northern section began as house in the late C16 or early C17, with the attached southern section being agricultural from the first, and probably dating from the C19. The range was converted to three dwellings in 1987. At the time of the conversion, the range was divided to form an eleven-bay linhay facing the farmyard, with a wide wagon entrance to the south.

English Heritage, 2012, Range of buildings 20 metres west of Old Bridwell, Bridwell Avenue (List of Blds of Arch or Historic Interest). SDV350359.

Notification that the range of buildings has been removed from the List. The range was recommended for de-listing for the following principal reason: * Alteration: the buildings have undergone very substantial alteration and rebuilding since they were listed, resulting in the loss of all significant historic features; they are therefore no longer of special interest.
Date first listed: 10th February 1982. Date of removal from List: 9th October 2012

Ordnance Survey, 2024, Mastermap 2024 (Cartographic). SDV365834.

Now converted to three dwellings.
