TOWNSEND, Untitled Source (Migrated Record). SDV230959.

Remains of 'bal mine' at ngr sx568694 a c19 tin dressing + smelting house c.13.7m square. Visible remains include several pits + a stone-lined wheelpit c.6.7m x 1.8m. A leat can be traced to newleycombe lake + a tail race going under the road + car park (townsend).
