Imperfectly known; SW angle and parts of S + W sides visible. Probably Roman, possibly 9 ha in area. May have been campaign base later replaced by SS70NW/8.

On a visit to consider the area of this site to be scheduled, it was felt that both the southern and northern sides of the putative enclosure were visible on the ground. A length has however been lost since the last visit by the construction of a barn over the western side south of the road.

Site scheduled as an Ancient Monument in November 1988. Described as of Roman military origin in scheduling document. Camp or campaign base of c8ha. Clearest on W and SW angle where a 6m wide spread bank is visible under pasture. Plan suggests Roman origin. South side traced for c100m east of SW angle. W side completely traced, except under farm buildings. North side follows scarp above River Yeo. NE and E sides not known for certain.

Three linear features were visible outside the northwest corner of the possible Marching Camp at SS73170725 in July 2004. They were visible as brown earth parch marks. The inner feature followed the northwest curved corner of the fort with the outer two features running parallel on the west side.
