Site visit 24th July 1983. Possible earthwork visible in field to north-east of Bradley Farm with a ditch to the south-east. It could be a plough-damaged barrow yet its status is suspect.

An earthwork of a sub-oval shaped mound like feature, circa 12m long by 10m wide, is visible on aerial imagery taken between 1946-1949, on a plateau at Bradley Barton, Newton Abbot. The earthwork has been previously interpreted as a possible prehistoric barrow, although this seems unlikely given its natural-like form and coincidence with an outcrop of igneous rock shown in this location on the British Geological Survey 1:50000 scale digital geology map.
