Full description

Griffiths, D. M., 1983, Untitled Source (Site Visit). SDV339756.

Low bank, nearly 2 meters wide at base and approximately 0.5 meters high in Lappathorn Copse, running in southeast/northwest direction from the southeast corner of th wood. Full length of bank not known as undergrowth made wood impenetrable. Presumably a field bank; not shown on the 19th century Tithe Map when this area was also a copse.
