Site visit 26th August 1983. Accompanying worksheet has a tracing of the 1840 Tithe Map showing the farmhouseand the adjacent ranges of farm buildings.

Twelve Oaks 17C farmhouse, 2 storeys, rendered. Window with moulded mullions to right of door. Porch with decorated granite spandrels to outer arch. 17th century or earlier altered 19th century. 2 storeys roughcast. Slate roof.1 axial, 1 lateral chimney stack. Ground floor has 17th century 4-light casements with moulded mullions. Devon porch with stone arch with carved & decorated spandrels with oak beams.
