Indio. "In 1772 the house was enlarged and applied to the purpose of manufacture of earthenware".

Probably operating in 1766 (Stretton 1970). Probably the pottery, making Queen's ware, of which Josiah Wedgewood wrote "a trifling concern and conducted in a wretched slovenly manner" following a visit in May 1775. Other details: Fig 1.
