Mounting block at Higher Staplehill. Probably 18th century with 4 stone steps.

Mounting block & gate posts on the north side of the road to south-east of Higher Staplehill. Mounting block and gate posts set in the angle between the drive entrance to Higher Staplehill to the left and a field gate at a right-angle to the right. Mid 18th - mid 19th century. Limestone rubble and granite. A rubblestone base supports 4 granite treads; attached to the left & right are granite gate posts. Other details: LBS No 464540.
