Woodhayne farm is set in a curious rectilinear enclosure with rounded corners, recorded as a ?earthwork by f. M. Griffith on 4/8/1983. No obvious interpretation: does not fit well with rest of field pattern (fmg). Vis=2/9/1992 (simpson + noble) none of the boundaries appear to be exceptional or particularly old. The boundary to the s of the house is low garden wall. The w boundary is a stream field hedge and bank. The other boundaries are walls and garden hedges. On the ground and on the map they do not appear to be "curious" or have rounded corners.
