Most northerly of the remaining hut circles at Foale's Arrishes. Excavated by the Dartmoor Exploration Committee in the late 19th century. Surveyed in 2015.

Full description

Baring Gould, S., 1897, Fourth Report of the Dartmoor Exploration Committee, 151-156 (Article in Serial). SDV337081.

Baring Gould Hut 7. Excavated. In centre was a triangular flat stone, probably the footstone of the central support of the roof. A few potsherds, charcoal, a flint spall and a double notched scraper.

Much obscured by gorse, and some of the walls tumbled. On south-east slope, levelled into hillside. Internal diameter 8.4 metres, double walls 1.5 metres high. Doorway probably to south-east.
