Site visit 27th September 1969. Diameter 30 paces, height 2 feet. Grid reference given as SS70121615.

Site visit 30th March 1971. One of a group of three barrows, 30 yards diameter and 2 feet high, on open moorland. Top broad and flat with evidence of robbing in centre. Other details: Monument 897

Site visit 14th November 1995. Round barrow forming part of a cemetery which includes at least seven mounds and a ring ditch. This barrow survives as a circular mound with a diameter of 16.2 metres and up to 0.7 metres high. The ditch surrounds the barrow and survives as a buried feature circa 2 metres wide.

Bowl barrow 590 metres north-west of Challacombe Cross, forming part of a round barrow cemetery on Horridge Moor. This monument includes a bowl barrow situated in a prominent location on a south-east facing ridge overlooking the valley of the Huntacott Water. The barrow forms part of a round barrow cemetery which includes at least seven mounds and a ring ditch. This barrow survives as a circular mound with a diameter of 16.2 metres standing up to 0.7 metres high. The ditch from which material to construct the mound was derived surrounds the barrow and survives as a buried feature circa 2 metres wide. The other barrows forming this cemetery are the subject of separate schedulings. Despite ploughing over the years, the barrow survives comparatively well and contains archaeological and environmental information relating to the mound and the surrounding landscape. This mound forms part of a round barrow cemetery which includes at least seven barrows and a ring ditch. Other details: Monument 28629. Map object based on this Source.

Two bowl barrows which form part of a round barrow cemetery on Horridge Moor. The barrows survive as circular mounds surrounded by infilled quarry ditches. These ditches survive as buried features. Barrow B at SS 70121616. Low broad barrow ? spread. Large depression in centre - material from centre may have been spread around the skirt. Other details: Barrow B.
