Standing stone at Whitestone. One of the most notable menhirs in the district. It is a huge mass of veined quartz, almost due north of the camp at campscott. In plan it is irregularly oblong, being rather narrower from west to east than from north to south.

'Whitestone' is one of the most notable menhirs in the district. It is a huge mass of veined quartz 9 feet high by 21 feet in girth and gives its name to the nearby farm. It stands almost due north of the (alleged) camp at Campscott. In plan it is irregularly oblong, being rather narrower from west to east than from north to south.

Whitestone Standing Stone is a boulder of veined quartz 9 feet (2.74 metres) high with 21 foot (6.4 metres) circumference standing in a field of pasture on the side of a hill.
