Combe Wood. House at Salcombe Regis. Situated to south of village group near bottom of combe. 17th/18th century L plan cob house, restored and modernised. Formerly a farmhouse. Long south front with renewed casements and 2 storey canted bay added. Thatched roof eyebrowed over 1st floor windows. Single canted bay added to west end. The thatch is swept down to rear wing which has stone rubble end wall. Other details: LBS No 401437.
