Full description

Devon County Council, 1838-1848, Tithe Maps and Apportionments (Website). SDV349463.

Sampford Peverell Tithe Apportionment of 1844. Field name on the Tithe map- ‘Kiln Orchard’ immediately adjacent (Plot 389) suggests they were in existence at the time. Plot 387-‘Lime Rock and Waste’ and Plot 388-‘Sheds and Roads’ indicate industrial processing.
