A small rectangular structure is shown on the 1839 Tithe Map, in the centre of the Deer Park; probably 19th century in date. No trace of it was visible on the ground; a dump of material on the upslope side of a small quarry circa 100 metres to the west includes masonry and may have come from its demolition. Other details: Figures 4, 9.
