Full description

Ordnance Survey, 1880s, Ordnance Survey, OS 25" (Cartographic). SDV848.

Site of 'Albert Inn (B. H.)' shown on OS 25" (1880s) map as an irregular shaped building on the northeast side of the road. Later building shown as 'Rose Cottage' on modern maps.

Elizabethan Inn. Originally two room and cross passage, end stacks, slate roof, crucks. Stable has hipped thatch roof and of cob. Earlier known as Albert Inn.
