Hasland Farmhouse is a single storey building with an attic under a half-hipped thatched roof. It is of three bays with additional half bays at either end, that at the north end thought to be a smoke bay. The roof structure has four jointed cruck trusses.
Samples from seven timbers together gave a date range of 1451 to 1567. One timber proved to have been felled in the winter of 1567-8. Together with the felling date ranges of five other timbers this suggests that the farmhouse was built in 1568 or soon after.
