Summary

Lswr exmouth branch. The exeter and exmouth railway company was authorized to build a broad gauge line to leave the south devon railway at exminster in 1855. The company was persuaded to build a narrow gauge line from queen street by the lswr and the line was opened 1/5/1861. It was worked by the lswr which absorbed the company in 1866. Still in use.(thomas).
