Full description

Snapes Manor. The core of the west wing is said to be 12th century. Medieval stone arch to porch on courtyard side. Original curved stair well. There is a good deal of pseudo-medieval restoration to this part of the house. The east wing is dated to 1784. There is a three storey, three window front with the upper floors slate hung. There is a good 18th century staircase in a quadrant shaped well.
