Des=os 6"(1906)114nw. 'old pit' indicated on os 6" (1906) and on os 6" (1963) (os).

Des=worksheet/greeves (7/7/1981). Vis=7/7/1981 (greeves) wheelpit with associated mortared stone adjacent to old quarry. Iron bearings of wheel are still in situ. Oral information from mr frost of hawson stables states that the wheel was removed in c 1967. It used to power a ram supplying water to three properties.(worksheet).
