Nos 81and 81a, Wolborough Street. Early 19th century. Two storeys stuccoed. Hipped slate roof. Three sashes with glazing bars intact. Six panelled door. External stone chimneystack to rear.

81 and 81A Wolborough Street. House, now two dwellings. Late 18th/early 19th century, No 81 being a remodelling of an earlier building. Painted render, crested slate roof hipped to the right with 2 external rubblestone stacks to the rear. Double-depth plan with long rear left wing. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; 3-window range. Moulded eaves cornice, 6/6-pane sash windows to the first floor and 8/8-pane sashes to the ground floor, to the left is a deep recess containing two 19th century six-panel doors in moulded architraves with overlights, one to the rear and one at a right angle to the right. A lower windowless range to the far right has a wide19th century planked door with a pintle for a former outer shutter or gate set into the right-hand jamb. INTERIOR: not inspected. Date listed: 6th June 1972.
