No 57 East Street. Mid 19th century. Two storeys stuccoed. Slate roof with 2 dormers. Two mullioned and transomed casements with leaded lights. Left-side doorcase with cornice, pilasters and rectangular fanlight.

57 East Street. House, now a shop. Early 19th century, altered 20th century. Painted stucco, slate and artificial slate roof with brick stacks to gable ends. L-plan with much altered rear right wing. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys with attic; 2-window range. Two 20th century dormers, 20th century latticed windows to the first and ground floors. Flat-arched carriage entrance to the left, early 19th century doorcase to the centre with pilasters, entablature and overlight. INTERIOR: the front room has a moulded cornice, the closed-string staircase to the rear has stick balusters and turned newel. Altered, but a significant part of the listed group in East Street. Date listed: 22nd March 1983.
