Shop front has two display windows canted in centre towards recessed shop door. Flanking pilasters with reeded brackets above them, forming the terminals of an entablature. Cart entrance to left.

Full description

Department of Environment, 1973, Ashburton, 29 (List of Blds of Arch or Historic Interest). SDV300597.

No 17, North Street. 18th century, three storey, rendered first and second floors with two flush frame sash windows with glazing bars. Gable above probably added. Good wood bracket eaves cornice. 19th century shop with wood case with pilasters. Vehicle way through under left.
