Garden of The Chalet, Stockland. Small overgrown garden plot, formerly part of 19th century (?) cottage enclosure of commons known as Shore Bottom. Oyster shell found in garden prior to 1939.

A small overgrown garden plot lies within east side of Shore Bottom survey area. Formerly part of 19th century cottage enclosure of the common, and believed to belong to Le Chalet to the north (see site 486). A single oyster shell (? Roman) was recovered from the garden prior to 1939. The garden plot is excluded from the survey area.
