Section of parish boundary presumably of medieval or earlier origin. Site on line of one of the proposed alternative routes for the Barnstaple bypass.

Site visit 15th June 1984. Section of the Westleigh/fremington parish boundary comprising an earthen bank, somewhat obscured by vegetation. Circa 1.3 metres high and 1.2 metres wide with a ditch on the east side. On the line of the Barnstaple bypass.
